Restoring Deleted Messages
When a message is deleted, the message is not erased, but marked for deletion. This means the message still exists, but is no longer considered active. Incoming messages will overwrite messages marked for deletion and any messages left marked for deletion are permanently erased during the early morning hours.
Online Instructions
- Go to www.800Link.com.
- Click "Login" at the top right.
- Enter the requested information, then click "Submit".
- Under "Services", click "Trash Can". If messages exist that can be recovered, they will be displayed.
- Select the message or messages you wish to restore by clicking the check box next to each message to be restored.
- Click the "Restore" button.
Telephone Instructions
- Dial your number. If you have an extension, enter it when prompted.
- Press the star (*) key any time during the outgoing message.
- Enter your security code when prompted. If you are not prompted for your security code, something has gone wrong.
- Press "8" to undelete messages. This option is only available if messages exist that can be recovered.
