800Link's Home Office service offers a unique toll-free number and a direct dial toll number dedicated for your exclusive use. At no additional charge, you optionally get a second toll-free number with up to twenty-five extension-type mailboxes. The unique toll-free number, toll number and each of the extensions are full-featured voice mailboxes with their own outgoing greeting and 1000 message storage capacity (messages are stored for up to two weeks).
The simplest and most common use of a mailbox is to play an outgoing greeting, then record a message from the caller. However, there are many ways you can utilize 800Link. For some ideas, check our Design Concepts page.

800Link is a prepaid service. Your account will be automatically recharged each time the account balance falls below zero (see exceptions).
This service includes 1,000 minutes each month. Unused minutes are converted to rollover minutes and are avilable for up to 12 months from the date of issuance. In the event the account runs out of minutes, additional minutes will be automatically purchased. Available minutes packs are listed below, one of which is listed as the default recharge minute pack for this plan. A minute pack other than the default may be selected for a particular account. The sum of available plan minutes and rollover minutes is referred to as the "minute pool". See the "Rollover Minutes" support topic for a complete description.

Effective Minutes
Calls are assigned an “effective minute” value rather than a monetary value. This value is deducted from the minute pool. In most cases, the effective minute value will be the same as the actual minute value. For instance, a 1 minute domestic incoming call will have an effective minute value of 1 minute. However, a 1 minute payphone call has an effective minute value of 7 minutes plus the actual minute value. Below is a list of call types that have an effective minute value greater than the actual minute value:
