What is 800Link API?

800Link API is an interface that enables remote clients access to certain 800Link features. The sample application presented here is intended to show some of the basic functionality of the API. It simulates the integration of message presentation, retrieval and management functions into a third party web site.

Demonstrated Features

• Message load and refresh - Click the "Refresh" button to load/refresh messages. Dial 800-995-0796 x 1010 to leave new test messages.
• Message retrieval - In this example, messages are streamed to an embedded player. Alternatively, messages may be downloaded and stored in a remote location.
• Delete/Restore - Use the "Delete/Restore" buttons to change message status.

Requirements

The API does not require the installation of any third-party components. The underlying functionality is achieved through Javascript calls to web service methods on the server. If you wish to use 800Link API, you must have the appropriate platform and development resources to consume remote web services.
